Wow 🤩 Admittedly this is my first time of experiencing a private dentist, but oh wow I'm excited to go back!!! I had moved to the area, but not had chance to register with a dentist when I broke one of my teeth, but they fit me in as an emergency within a couple of days! Just amazing! The dentist was so lovely, so polite, so relaxing and extremely informative. I've never been to see a dentist and been so overwhelmed at the whole experience. Every member of staff I encountered was just so lovely. I'm actually excited to take my daughter, who is extremely nervous and anxious about dentist appointments, which then makes me nervous. Words cannot express how happy I am with them and would highly recommend. ~ Denise B

I had a very good experience this morning. Unfortunately I had to have a rear tooth removed, nevertheless the Dentist - Manisha and Dental Nurse - Trudi both enabled me to understand what was going to happen and what was happening during the procedure. Of course with such a procedure I felt apprehensive when I arrived, the Dentist was new to me too. However I needn’t have been apprehensive at all as both were very friendly, comfortably chatted with me and quickly put me at my ease. Having attended the Practice for many many years now, enjoyed having lovely dentists and experienced many changes over those years. I wouldn’t recommend having a tooth removed !!! But I would recommend this Dental Practice ~ Sue B

Was referred to Albert Road dental by my own dentist to tackle an unruly tooth that had a root canal and was causing my dentist issues. Both Mike and Trudy were professional throughout and also made the time go extremely quickly with interesting and fun conversations, which was impressive considering I had to mumble the whole time as you know, dentistry. Didn't feel anything during the procedure and haven't felt any pain since. I was really appreciative of Mike making sure to tell me what he was doing at each step which took away the mystique of the whole process. Thanks for sorting out my tooth 👍 ~ NOVA S

This is my second visit to see Root Canal expert Mike Waplington. He is a genius who is not only a brilliant dentist but also someone who is very personable and able to give his patients total confidence in the treatment they receive. Throughout the whole procedure he tells you what he is doing, how it will feel, what the next steps are and what the outcome will be. He is efficient, skilful and ultimately professional. Mr Wapplington is a lovely man, very professional and caring. His running commentary on what he’s doing was most entertaining. He made what I was expecting to be an unpleasant experience into one I found interesting. Its a pity more dentists are not as nice. I’ve been delighted with the treatment Mr Wapplington has given me. The treatment has proven totally be totally successful. His calm measured manner made me feel relaxed on every visit. He’s such a pleasant man its been a pleasure talking with him as well as benefiting from his considerable expertise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. ~ David C

2 recent visits: 1st with Dr Fletcher - efficient and quick appointment to sort out toothache caused by loose filling but with possible crown option to come. The experienced dentist explained all issues clearly and with reasoning so the next steps can be planned - thank you! 2nd visit today for root canal treatment with Dr Waplington - felt totally at ease, local anaesthetic injection almost pain free. Clearly very experienced and thorough endodontic treatment - as in past root canal under Dr Waplington 2019 which is still successful. Thank you again!! ~ Simon D

Today, I received root canal treatment at this practice. Arriving with previous experience from elsewhere, I wasn’t looking forward to the process. However, I can honestly say that my nearly two hour experience in the care of Sandra and Mr Waplington was truly amazing. No pain, discomfort or concerns as my wellbeing during the complex procedure appeared to be their prime concern. At the time of writing this five hours later, I cannot believe that today I had root canal treatment, such was the skill of these professionals. Thank you. ~ Patricia H

Despite the treatment I needed to have not being very pleasant, the dentist, Bindi (& her assistant) were gentle & respectful of me at all times. I felt as relaxed & reassured as I could possibly be & was kept informed of what was about to happen next throughout the appointment. The whole team at Albert Road, including the reception staff, are professional and friendly. The waiting area is clean, tidy & has a relaxed feel to it. There is usually plenty of free parking outside the dentist, available for 2 hours. ~ Sara

What an Amazing Practice. We had to arrange an emergency appointment for my nervous mother to have a couple of extractions done today. We were treated by Dr Asad and he was simply exceptional. Kind, considerate, gentle and most of all a consummate professional. Albert Road Dental Practice was also exceptional on every front. From the moment we walked in staff were polite, courteous and welcoming. I unreservedly recommend Albert Road Dental and Dr Asad. Well done. ~ Abid B

Absolutely amazing dental practice. I saw Mike Wapplington for root canal treatment which I was anxious about as a nervous patient. But he immediately put me at ease when I first met him. His friendly and professional manner made me feel relaxed from the start and I could have fallen asleep during the treatment as I was so comfortable and it was pain free throughout! I came to the clinic today without an appointment because I was very worried about my tooth, and I was immediately admitted to the clinic. The receptionist was very friendly and polite, and it made a great first impression on me. I was examined by Dr. Sadu, who was very kind and attentive, and he explained everything in detail about the examination and what would happen next. Today I attended for a root canal procedure. I attended a few weeks ago for an assessment with Dr Uri Emir, one of the Endodontists, who fully explained the procedure and performed a dental assessment also! I was dreading today, but everything was very straightforward, the local anaesthetic meant I didn't feel a thing and I was well looked after throughout the whole procedure. The experience was so much better than I had anticipated. ~ Beverley H

Every step from initial booking, through registration to consultation and recommended treatment, the receptionists, dental nurse and dentist were all superb. First class service and care from start to finish. Ps I wasn’t looking forward to the root canal treatment but Mike and his associate literally made it painless, explaining and reassuring me all the way through. I didn’t even feel the needles. I was seen.by Abi Raajkumar, who was very kind, friendly and thorough , she explained the whole examination to me in detail and what would happen on going. Recently visited for aesthetics. Lovely welcoming practice. Clean and fresh. The procedure was thoroughly explained before hand by Francine who was very knowledgable and professional. Cannot recommend Bradley highly enough. He actually makes visiting the dentist something to look forward to but not only that he has nudged, cajoled and persuaded me to look after my teeth (and gums) I now have gums which don't bleed and a dental hygiene regime which works. I have felt in very safe hands with MW. He explains clearly what the issue is and what he intends to do. He is honest about any potential problems. He remembers me from a previous visit many months ago, and his easy conversational style puts you at ease. His treatment, most importantly, was most effective. ~ Tim K

Today (1 Aug) I had root canal treatment. Mr Waplington and the team made the procedure pain-free and as relaxed as possible. I'm rather anxious about dental work, but the atmosphere was friendly, calm and reassuring, and I felt I was in safe hands. I'd definitely use their services again should the need arise. ~ Bronwen J

Always had excellent dental care and advice from this dental team. I was a little concerned that Julie was nolonger my dentist but today's visit has reassured me. The team are always friendly, proffesional and work hard to provide a quality service. Dr Bindi gave thoughtful, honest dental advice and fully explained future treatment. ~ Mark J

I was pleased with my experience this week. I feel in safe hands. My hygienist was gentle and thorough. I am getting to know Bindi now, she is kind and friendly and again I feel confident in her knowledge and thoroughness. I haven't been to the hygienist for over 6 months, Charlotte was very good and put me at ease,my teeth felt so much cleaner. Today, 29th July i had a checkup with Manisha, very thorough, explained the treatment i will need, a filling,which I have booked, and possibly future treatment depending on my teeth, thankyou for explaining everything. ~ Denise M

I was referred here for root canal work. Beforehand, I was very apprehensive but Mr Waplington put me at my ease and explained everything that he did. There was even numbing cream before the injections so there was no pain at any part of the process. I would recommend the Albert Road Practice for dental work. ~ Linda H

Referral from my own dentist to have my existing root canal removed and redone, with the added complexity of having to go through my gold crown. Mr Waplington & the team were professional at every stage explaing the problem and options, and all subsequent surgery was pain free with regular updates and engaging conversation throughout. ~ Simon B

I am petrified of dentists even at my age but Mike , Trudy and the team were lovely. I am going back for a 2 hour root filling which I am trembling about already so I will update when I have been. So far, excellent care and lovely practice. Many thanks ~ Ann D
